Hey there, everyone. Amanda here. Yep, I’m making a surprise appearance on the Light of Truth blog today to share good news about Lynn’s novel, Frostbite.
We had a little bit of good news with my story, Frostbite, and so I begged Lynn to see if she’d let me announce it.
She argued that it wasn’t that big of a deal to merit a blog post on it because she’d already mentioned it on FaceBook and Twitter, but I disagreed.
I mean, I’m seventeen, that’s what I do, right?
Anyway, Lynn stumbled across this wicked-cool website one day and noticed they were having a contest. It was right up her alley with the whole paranormal thing going. I think my story qualifies, right? Shooting ice from my fingers, lifting cars. . .
LOL.
So, she entered our story and believe it or not, she got a wonderful email on Friday October, 16th telling her she was a finalist in the contest!
How cool is that?
I was just so excited, so I had to ask if I could tell you guys about it, since it was just a couple weeks ago I’d hosted the week of blog posts. I mean, we’re buddies now right?
Okay, so we’ll see what happens with the finals . . . but it’s just so exciting to at least be a finalist. Results to be announced some time in December I think. And as Lynn always says: “God’s timing. God’s planning.”

HI Ralene. Thanks for stoppin’ by. Yeah, I was pretty excited when I heard our story finaled. Heck, the winners aren’t announced until December, but as excited as Lynn was, you would have thought she won the lottery. LOL.
