A prisoner of agoraphobia, Aurora Drysdale chances her first trip out from her home since a brutal attack left her at death’s door three years earlier. Danger, in the form of two men with knives, finds her again. In a flash of light, a man appears and pours out his deadly wrath on the attackers, then vanishes, but not before Aurora hears one of the men call her a Portal.
Elijah Tool flashes from town-to-town helping those in need but has no knowledge of how it happens or what he is. After saving Aurora, he falls into an unexpected, yet somehow familiar, world of immortal guardians called Aeonites breathed to life by the archangel Michael.
Neither have a clue how coming together might alter their lives, but the Malum do, and they’ve sworn to prevent it at all costs.
