Rachel Clark wants only to win her next triathlon, and when a mysterious man zips by her while out for a ride, she chases him down to find out who has moved in on her turf. But when an out of control semi-truck plows toward the stranger, he vanishes, only to re-appear, unharmed, minutes later.

Scared by what she saw, combined with the strange red aura she’s recently noticed around certain people, just before their blood is shed, Rachel is convinced she’s suffering a psychotic break like her mother did before she killed herself.

Worried the beautiful triathlete witnessed him using his special skills to evade the semi, Brandon Parks, befriends Rachel. Never did he expect to fall in love with her, let alone, find out she has recently developed a powerful ability as well.

Meanwhile, an organization that becomes aware of Brandon’s powers marks him for termination. His love for Rachel puts her in harms way and pulls her into his explosive world of mutant technology. Although it helps her understand her new talent, it may mark her for death as well.
