Angels. . .

There’s just something about a character who has wings. Maybe it’s my envy over the fact I’ll never be able to fly. I’ve written a few characters who have wings, and I never tire of looking for pictures to spark my imagination.

Check this one out I found on Google Images.

***UPDATE: Picture Removed. There’s been a lot of uproar about using pictures from Google Images on blogs, so, I’m removing them from my blog posts to be safe. Sorry. I just loved sharing all the pictures I find out on the web, but that’s just how it goes, I guess. Thanks!***

Love it!! Now, I’m sure she could fly with those translucent wings, but still…they sure are beautiful!

What’s your favorite story that involves angels…or winged characters??

I love books with someone/thing having wings.
My favourite would have to be a tie between Skellig by David Almond and Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick.

The only book I read so far with angels is a book by Bonnie Lamer. It has witches & fairies also. I found myself on a witch book kick & I loved her books.–Rachel

Aah, I love stories involving angels. I guess it’s just because there’s so many ways that you can go with it that makes it different and refreshing each time.

My 1st favorite story involving angels would have to be the Hush, Hush saga by Becca Fitzpatrick. And second to that series is most definitely the Angelfire series by Courtney Allison Moulton. (: Love those two series like crazy!

Hush Hush is a GREAT story. I really liked that series. Even though book two was a little slow for my taste. Books 1 and 3 made up for that. 🙂
