• Is it time yet?

    Okay, so, are you one who decorates for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving? Or have your lights been up since October?

    **OR**

    Do you opt out on the whole holiday decorating thing?

    I’m somewhere in the middle….

    We don’t do much outside. I mean, nothing even close to THIS:

    ~~~
    But I put a little wreath on the front door.
    Does that count?
    We have a little tree we put some lights on and a few decorations throughout the house, but that’s about it. How ’bout you guys?
  • Black Friday…
    So, who’s heading out to battle the crowds?
    ~~~~

    I’m so not a Black Friday shopper. Never have been. It could be that extreme dislike of crowds thing I have going on. LOL!

    So, who braved the masses?

    Find any good deals?

    Or are you just scanning this post while you’re standing in line????

    Hope you had a super Thanksgiving and are enjoying the day after detox from tryptophan.

  • Movie Quotes…Sports Style

    So, you probably know by now that the past few days have been filled with Ironman posts, celebrating, etc (Click HERE for deets) so, I figured I’d have to go along that theme with movie quotes.

    Not so much Ironman movies, but movies about sports of some sort. Both old and new…..So give it a shot.

  • Ironman Arizona

    So…I’m an IronMATE (check out that picture). How fun. Charlie brought this home after he’d gotten his race stuff picked up.

    I was so excited to wear that at the Ironman event.

    It fits in with my writing when it comes to mates and things. I talk about that a lot in the stories I write.

    And it’s true, Charlie’s my fated mate, so it was fitting.

    We had SUCH A blast at the all day event.

    Swimming 2.4 miles

    Biking 112 miles

    Running 26.2

    I can only say one thing:

    Thank GOD it wasn’t me doing it.

    Charlie did great.

    He finished in 10 hours and 39 minutes which landed him 37th in his age group (out of 400) and 237 overall (2600 entrants)

    He trained so hard for the last 10 months. So I’m glad he did better than he’d expected!

    Here are some pictures.

    This event was for you, Lynn Boeyink (2/2/48-10/24/11)
