Fast Five….

I LOVE The Rock.

No really. I’m not kidding.

I get laughed at because I like him, but I do.

And I didn’t even know he was in FAST FIVE when I started watching it. Yeah, I hadn’t read anything on the movie other than Alex Cavanaugh mentioned it on his blog a while back and mentioned it was worth watching.

I liked the first two movies, but I’d quit watching after that. Now I have to go back and check out what led up to FAST FIVE, but boy, I was glad I watched this one.

IMDB Synopsis

Dominic and his crew find themselves on the wrong side of the law once again as they try to switch lanes between a ruthless drug lord and a relentless federal agent.

YUM. Did I mention that?

Okay, once I got through the “huh?” factor because I didn’t watch a couple of the previous movies, I fell in love. No, actually, when I saw The Rock step on screen…just kidding (mostly).

The action was fantastic. Great effects. I never got too bored. The romance was just enough. There were a couple racing scenes that had the bare-butt girls flaunting their cellulite-free fannies, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be so that’s good.

Now, I love Vin Diesel, too. He made a few flop movies after the first Fast and Furious, but PITCH BLACK and Chronicles of Riddick are really what made me love him. I was glad to see him back and all buffed out. Woot!

See any good movies lately?

I haven’t seen this movie but I did like Vin Diesel in Saving Private Ryan. I watched RED the other day and really liked it. Big Bruce Willis fan.

  3. Skip the third one but go back and watch the fourth, as it lead up to the fifth.
And wasn’t it awesome? Best movie of 2011!
