HISTORY

What a historic night last night, huh? On many levels.

Whether your choice for president was elected, or not. Whether you voted, or not……I want to hear from you.

What are you thinking? Are you scared? Happy? Confused?

Personally, I rest in the fact that I can cast my worry and fear on God. “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7). Whatever may come of the next four years, I rest in my faith in God.

    Howdy!

I am disappointed with the results of the election, but am strangely at peace. I prayed for God’s will, and even though it didn’t match up with mine, I have no doubt that it is in His hands.

Now I’m just praying that He will provide a way for my family to get some things in order, because I have a strong feeling that things in this country are going to change dramatically.

Wow, Kat. Pretty big night for your state and our country, huh?

Sarah, uncertain is a good word for sure!

Patty, you’re right, easier said than done, but we’ll all help remind each other to cast our worries on Him!

    Thanks for visiting ladies!

I tend to go on the side of just letting the Lord be in control. I know he has a reason for everything, even though it may be a while before we know what it is. I will cast any worries on him, for he says not to worry about today. I know, easier said than done, but that’s my goal. It’s all in his hands.

I guess the word to describe how I’m feeling is…uncertain. I’m trusting in the Lord that He chose this president for a reason, but I’m also unsure of how I feel about Obama as a person. Not as a leader, but as a real person. I’m hoping he is the man he claims to be.

    Thanks for letting me share!

Not only did voters elect the first black president this year, but voters in my hometown also elected its first female mayor.

It truly is an historic election.

    Cool.
