Movie Quotes

So, I turned the big 3-9 on Monday. I know, I’m an old fart now…LOL…Anyway, as the newly appointed old fart, I figured for today’s movie quotes I’d pick some of my FAVE movies.

And to those who have been following the Movie Quote part of my blog for a while that’s a big hint. **LOL**

1. My entire childhood has been an episode of X-files…

2. Donger’s here for five hours, and he’s got somebody. I live here my whole life, and I’m like a disease.

3. I was a stone cold aerial hunter, death from above. Only problem is, you’re not the only one.

4. Tempting but I don’t get out of bed for less than half a million dollars.

  1. Well my friend, you stumped me on all of them and that’s partially because I have only seen one of those movies…Mr. and Mrs. Smith. And apparently I am in the minority here because I actually found that movie to be rather disappointing. Based on all the trailers and hoopla, I was expecting much more. By the way, you can’t be old because that means I am on my way to “old” and I don’t even want to go there. 🙂

  2. Okay. Here are the answers:

    1. My entire childhood has been an episode of X-files… –I Am Number Four (2011)
    2. Donger’s here for five hours, and he’s got somebody. I live here my whole life, and I’m like a disease. –Sixteen Candles (1984)
    3. I was a stone cold aerial hunter, death from above. Only problem is, you’re not the only one. –Avatar (2009)
    4. Tempting but I don’t get out of bed for less than half a million dollars. –Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005)

    Thanks for playing!! 🙂

  3. Yes, these all sound familiar, but no added guesses to the ones above. I am a teeny bit younger than you, but also feel like an old fart. 🙂 But in the scheme of things, I guess we’re still spring chickens. Happy Movie Quote day!!

  4. Like I promised, I’m back.
#1 and #3 I don’t know but #2 I think is from Sixteen Candles while #4 is from one of my favorite movies, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and the comic relief of Vince Vaughn

  5. Lynn, to begin with you’re not an ‘old fart’ until you reach 50. I’m 63 years YOUNG and don’t consider myself one of those people, most of the time.
I’ll be back later to take a crack at the movie quotes.
