Heaven’s Fire

If Ashley’s white hair and eyes don’t deter potential boyfriends, her ability to tell them what they’re thinking will.

Ashley Hayes lives a lonely life moving from city-to-city with her sister, Britt, fighting against the demons. Isolated by her ability to read minds, her snow-white hair, and ivory eyes, she secretly craves what her sister takes for granted—a boyfriend.
Nicholas Bentz appears, seemingly out of nowhere, and saves Ashley’s sister from certain death. His power of telepathy is the strongest Ashley’s ever come against and coupled with his powers to heal, she hopes she’s finally found her soul mate.
Despite their blazing chemistry, he resists her advances. He claims he may unwillingly kill her with an even stronger power—his voice. But fate forces them together to face off with a creature that can create demons with only his breath. But Ashley may not survive Nicholas’ first words.

I remember seeing this in one of the FFnP contests–three-line pitch maybe? How could anyone forget the hero whose first words might kill the heroine??
You have a real knack for writing these little blurbs. Can you teach the rest of us?
Katie–You’re so sweet. Yep, FF&P critiqued up through ch 5 so far. Thanks–but I have MUCH help when it comes to the one liners/blurbs from my friends and another crit group as well.
I love the new look on your website! I am especially loving the new name. I hope we all get to read “Heaven’s Fire in the near future.
Wow!
Nice!!
Sounds great! I’ve had characters named Ashley and Nicholas too–but in two different novels, lol!
Once again I will say it. I want to read ALL of your books! Every single one of them! And oh gosh where do you find your pictures? Emily (my best friend) and I both love your pictures for your stories!!
Thanks for the kind words! When and if I’m ever published, you’ll be on the list for author copies to help spread the word!
As for my pictures. They are just random photos I found on Photobucket. They aren’t covers or anything. It’s fun to find pictures out there that look like some of the characters in my novels.
