Violet Storm…here we come
Wow. It’s hard to believe I hit SEND on the final edits for Violet Storm (Violet Night #3) to my Super Editor.
Two trilogies done!
When I was straightening out my book shelf the other day, I had to stop when I saw my books.I put them all out and snapped this picture. Five novels out there, the sixth on its way (June hopefully)….And yes, I pinched myself.
Stills feel like a dream sometimes. I’m excited to see what cover they come up with for the final installment of Jake and Emma’s love story.
As soon as I have it, I’ll post it for sure.

Couch To Marathon
Last week I got some GREAT news….
Doc cleared me for all activity now! Woot! After nearly eleven weeks on restriction after abdominal surgery, I can start exercising again!
And let me tell you, I’m ECSTATIC.
Remember way back when I realized I was going to have major surgery I threw out the challenge to join me in training for a marathon once I recovered?
Well, now that I’ve received the good-to-go from my doc, I’m ready to jump into the Couch to Marathon.
I haven’t picked out a race yet, but I’m shooting for something in October.
Sure, I’ve always been athletic, sprinkling in a few half-marathons over the years, but a full marathon?
As in 26.2 miles
Yikes!
But you wanna know something? I say, “BRING IT ON!”

#TFOB
Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending the Tucson Festival of Books (#TFOB on Twitter) down in Tucson, AZ. I got to have a booth both days with some awesome authors **AND** I got to participate in a couple of panels.
Though I wasn’t 100% due to my recent surgery, I had a blast while I was there. I met tons of new friends and tons of readers out on the hunt for that exciting new book/author to try.
Thanks to everyone who came to the panels and participated in the discussions. Another thanks to everyone who stopped by the Lynn Rush booth and chatted with me. And a special thanks to Kris Tualla who organized the booth along with Saguaro Romance Writers for organizing the panels!
