tears for fears 2009Man, when I think of them, it’s like

a time warp back to the 80s. I heard they broke up

for a while, but got back together in 2000

Okay, so, this is a different flare to the normal Then and Now Thursday….but I couldn’t resist. Wait, maybe I should have saved it for the Friday Funnies, huh? I mean, check it out. Big hat, missing my two front teeth, oh, and that little shirt — what IS that anyway???

    Sheri and Grams and Gramps

Yep, that’s me in the middle.

Puny, little, scrawny me. Can you see the two front teeth are missing?

I saw this while viewing the memorial DVD my step-dad, Ed, made for Grams’ funeral.

Yeah, this brought me to tears.

    Of both laughter and sadness.

I guess that’s kind of what funerals are like, huh?

Memories that make you smile and sadness at what you will miss now that the person you cherish is gone.

This picture brought back fond memories of fishing with the grandparents, goofing around in the back yard until I could hardly stand I was so tired, and eating cake donuts.

Have you ever stumbled across an old picture that brought you back in time?

Well…. “Then and Now” Thursdays is right up your alley.

    Have you ever played Monopoly?

I played it a few times as a kid,

but I was never been a big fan of it.

Most of the time it was just because

I was too hyper to sit still that long to play a game. ***LOL***

OH YEAH Got to have the Star Wars edition! I must admit, we have this one. LOL.

from when I was a kid.

    Heck, they’ve got a

Monopoly for pretty much every theme now.

MashM*A*S*H — ahhh, remember that show? I know it was in the 1980’s that its LAST episode aired, but I remember watching some of the series.

I really consider this the first “medical” show out there. It had it all.

    Action. Adventure. Romance.

    Oh, and remember Clinger?

Nowadays, the “doctor” shows sure have changed, huh?

    ER photoER just ended.

I’d watched it first when it started,

but then I fizzled out. However,

I watched the finale. That was sweet.

    Greys AnatomyGrey’s Anatomy.

    I’ve never seen Grey’s Anatomy.

But I’ve heard it put Dr. McDreamy back on the map. LOL.
