THEN AND NOW THURSDAYS
Have you ever sat and reminisced about what was popular when you were a kid? Well…. “Then and Now” Thursdays is right up your alley.

Basketball uniforms. Ok, they are freaking hysterical back in the day. Right?
I mean, are you kidding me? Those short, little bun huggers? Oh, they crack me up.
But NOW…..Oh my, I can’t decide what’s worse. **LOL**
I know the picture is small, but you can tell how baggy the shorts are. I mean, if there was a big gust of wind, he’d go up like a kite!

So, any fashions from the past you want to share?

Oh yeah. LEG WARMERS and STIRRUP PANT. OMG. Yeah, and I LOVED Punky Brewster. Ahhh, the eighties, indeed.

What about stirrup pants? My mom used to make me where those in elementary school. I wore them with my “Punky Brewster” tennis shoes.
Ahh…the eighties.

Legwarmers. It’s so funny to me to see things like this back in style with teenagers. Should we tell them that they’re not a new thing, or should we let them live in blissful ignorance? Hmmm…what if they weren’t new when we wore them back then?

Parachute pants…OH YEAH. Totally remember those. That’s funny. Maybe I’ll post pictures of those next “Then and Now”
LOL

Ah, Billy beat me to it. Parachute pants indeed.

Remember parachute pants? I had four pair in the seventh grade, the kind that had about forty zippers. So, so glad no one ever took a picture of me wearing those things…
