Win the day.

******

You might have heard the saying, “Take it one day at a time.” It’s a common phrase that has helped many people get through hard times or make big changes.

Another way to look at it is to think, “Let’s win the day.” My hubby told me this the other day, and I really liked it.

When you’re tackling change, it can feel very overwhelming. Let’s take healthy eating as an example. Instead of thinking about eating healthy foods everyday, focus on today.

Just win today. Don’t worry about tomorrow or the next day. Just win today when it comes to your goal.

It’s less stressful and overwhelming that way.

It can help with anything you’re dealing with. The recent and very unexpected death in our family has given me opportunity to practice this as well. But I’m sometimes taking it minute by minute in that case.

And that’s okay.

Whatever you’re facing, win the day today. You can do it. We’re in this together, my friends.
