TRIVIA TIME

terminatorOkay, okay….you know I have to do some form of trivia on my blog at least once a week. So, what better to chose from than The Terminator?

“Why The Terminator?” You ask?

My sweet hubby and I watched it over the weekend. I love that movie. And no, it’s not because Arnold walks around in his birthday suit in the beginning…It’s just a good, and somewhat funny, movie.

Funny?

Yeah, funny. Some of the lines crack me up.

So, how well do you know this movie?

1. What was the name of the bar Sarah Connor runs into to call the police?

2. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s famous debut line, ‘I’ll be back’ was original scripted as what?

3. What actor turned down the role as Terminator?

4. In the beginning when The Terminator comes across the punks and asks for their clothes, one of the punks is a well-known actor now. Can you name the actor?

Go ahead, leave your guesses in the comments, I’ll come back later today and post the answers.

Avily–I tried watching the Sarah Connor Chronicles, but couldn’t get into it. I did like Dollhouse. I had to miss last Friday, but the premiere was great! That Joss guy is amazingly talented…creative…holy moly. What’s your guess for #3?

  • Avily

Oh, man, it’s been WAY too long since I’ve seen it! The only one I think I know is #3.

Hey, do you watch the Sarah Connor Chronicles? It’s on Fox on Friday nights right before Dollhouse. I watched about one and a half of them, but couldn’t really get into it. I think you have to start from the beginning to really appreciate what’s going on.

Tracy—Ok, we’ll see you back later.
Billy–Yeah, I was surprised too! Just wait until you hear who it is!
Kat–NO FAIR googling. LOL. Yeah, the mashed potatoes thing cracks me up every time, and then the waitress comes by and says the line about who’s gonna care in 100 years. LOL
Gzusfreek–I’ve seen this moving more than 30 times I’m sure. Yeah, this trivia was a little difficult.

    🙂

OK, I just Googled the answer to No. 3 because I thought I knew who it was. The snippet on IMDB about this is hilarious . . .considering.

I’ve scene this movie about 10 times. I love it, too.

I love the scene at the beginning where the kid stuffs the mashed potatoes in Sarah Connor’s pocket at the diner.

But I think I still like the second one better. Edward Furlong rocks as the young John Connor, and G’n’R did the title song…good stuff.
