What are you reading?

I’m between books to read. Been locked in the editing cave, but I’m ready to come out and read something to give my brain a rest.

Let me hear what you’re reading right now, I might just head to Amazon and download it to my kindle.

  1. I just finished Brandon Sanderson’s Mistborn and LOVED IT. I downloaded it to see how he was as and author as he was tapped to finish the Wheel of Time series after author Robert Jordan died prematurely. I kept it on my e-reader for a year. After finishing your last book I needed something to read too. Great story and characters. It is a fantasy paranormal type book and I am going to download the 2 sequels asap.

  2. I’m about half-way through Michael R. Hicks’ “Season of the Harvest.” It’s a Sci-Fi Thriller. POV is a rogue FBI agent that gets sucked into a genetically modified food conspiracy. Think the X-Files with Mulder as a war hero and a skeptic, hellbent on solving a friends’ murder.

  3. I already tossed in my recommendation of Bitten by Kelley Armstrong, but if you’re in the mood for YA you could try her Darkest Powers trilogy The Summoning… Really fun book!

Right now I’m reading The Fallen Queen by Jane Kindred and next up is The Hunger Games…

  4. Lynn I just finished a series by Alexandra Ivy, “Guardians of Eternity” and I have to say that I am very much looking forward to the next book in this series. I loved it!! But what I am reading now is a book I hate for it to end because it is so good. Laura Wright out done herself with “Eternal Captive” I would have to say that it is by far the best in the series thus far. But now Laura has another one coming out in Aug. 2012 “Eternal Beast” I am really looking forward to seeing if she can out do “Eternal Captive” And if she does, then WOW!!!
I hope you find just the right book for you to read and enjoy, I know I have found one.
Happy reading and writing!!! : )

  5. A Girls Guide to Witch Craft I forgot the author I think it is Mindy Klasky not sure if that is right, but they were fun cute books. —Rachel

  6. Hi, Lynn. If you like scary stuff, I just reviewed Asylum Lake by R.A. Evans. It was very good, but definitely horror. Good luck. Pick a good one!

    • Not so much into horror…but it’s not out of the question. 🙂 I think I’ve heard of RA Evans. 🙂
