  • James Garcia Jr

Hi, Lynn. Goals for 2012? Stay in shape, I think. I’m soon to be 43 and I don’t have time for it, so that’s going to be the one. I’ve been blessed to be published, and will be published again in early 2012. I’m working on book 3 and have gotten better at networking. Getting in & staying in shape is the one thing I struggle to find time for!
    Thanks for the giveaway opportunity.

    • Lynn Rush

Awesome, Jimmy!!! 🙂 Keep at it, the exercise will come! 🙂 It’s tough to pry yourself away from the computer to do the exercise. I’ve noticed that sometimes as well!! 🙂

  • Rita

I hope 2012 will bring peace and joy to everyone here–readers are special people 🙂
I am moving cross country this week so a short term goal is to get my family moved smoothly and without a hitch. Luckily I have my Nook to read in the motels at night or I would go stir crazy!

    • Lynn Rush

I’ll be thinking of you, Rita, on your move. That’s always tough. Thank goodness for the Nook, huh? Or Kindle for some. Or, iPad…whatever people are using to read these days. Hope you have some good books on there to keep you sane. 🙂

    • Lynn Rush

I LOVE THAT, Kindlemom1!!!!! Got to have fun no matter what you do, and it might as well be with reading a blogging! I love blogging. Heck, reading too, so I’ll add that to my list as well!! 🙂 Read on, my friend!

  • Nora St.Laurent

Great Give away to start out the year!! My goal in 2012 is to slow down and smell the flowers more this year. Take time to have lunch or coffee with friends and plan more family nights with my family. I worked hard this year and need to take time to relax and reconnect with family and friends!!

    Thanks for this opportunity.

    • Lynn Rush

Thanks, Nora. I’m glad you stopped by. I love your idea for 2012 for relaxing and reconnecting. It’s so important. 🙂

  • Stella

My biggest goal is to read at least 50 books! Now, if only my teachers will cooperate by giving me less homework…;)

    • Lynn Rush

Homework. That sure does get in the way of things, doesn’t it? LOL!! Studies first, then reading. I never read much while I was in school unless it was a text book, so kudos to you for fitting in extra reading! 🙂

  • Jessica McLaughlin

My One goal for this new year would to speak positive things over my children. Tell them love more than I normally do, how amazing they are and also speak the great things they are going to do during their lives OVER them as well. I believe there is power in the spoken word 🙂 Also, not sure if that came out quite the way it sounded in my head, but you get the gist.

    • Lynn Rush

I love the speak positive over your children. That’s awesome! 🙂 I totally get what you’re saying.

  • Jenny Bynum

Thank you for the AWESOME giveaway!! My goal for 2012 is read 160 books, because I m NOT going to make it this year!! LOL!

  • Sebrina

I have a couple! LOL First is to keep track of all the books I’ve read; I didn’t do this this year, and I’m just totally curious. Sometimes I read 2 to 3 books a week, so I can only imagine what the actual numbers are. The 2nd is to lose those 10 pounds and get myself muscle toned like I was BK (before kids, lol) I should be able to do the 2nd one since I’m giving myself 12 months to do it, for goodness sake. *laughs* Oh, here’s another one….and pull some awesome pranks too! 🙂

    • Lynn Rush

My mom has an excel spreadsheet of all the books she and her hubby have read. It’s a really good idea. Goodreads works well with that! That’s what I’m using. 🙂 Awesome goal to get healthy. Taking care of our bodies is so important! Ohhhh, pranks, huh? Now I’m a little nervous. LOL. Just kidding. Thanks for stopping by!!

  • Deann F

Well my reading goal (which is on goodreads) 52 books (@ least 1000 pgs total) and at least 12 of them debut authors.

Thanks for the beautiful celebration, glad you had a great year!

  • Alexandra Lanc

Thanks so much for this giveaway! I tweeted about it, and hopefully earned you some more entries! 🙂

My goal for 2012 is to edit my adult novel, and finish writing the one I’ve started…and maybe release one of them. I have a few YA novels scheduled for release this next year, but no adult novels. We shall see…

Thanks again, and Happy New Year!!! 😀

  • Paula McCurry

A goal for 2012? To write more. Doesn’t matter what. Fiction, poetry, reviews, whatever.

I just have to remind myself to-do lists don’t count.

    • Lynn Rush

LOL. To-do lists don’t count? But they take time and thought to construct! LOL. Great goal, Paula. Write on!

  • Lindsay

Right now I’m planning to try to get to full books out in 2012 along with one, many two themed short stories and at least one anthology.
Let’s see how well I do come the end of 2012

  • Teresa Morris-lloyd

One would be to save the money to be able to go and spend time with my grandbabies in NC where my son is stationed at Ft. Bragg.
Another would be to get out more, do more things. I tend to spend a lot of time here at home, and my kids are always saying that I need to get out more.

  • Nicole Zoltack

Thanks so much for the giveaway!

A goal for 2012? That would be to write four novels. I managed to write two novels in the last four months of this year so four should hopefully be manageable. Although it might be a stretch considering that baby #3 will be born sometime in mid-February. But I’ll do my best!
