Now…onto the movie.
Synopsis from IMDB:
The Autobots learn of a Cybertronian spacecraft hidden on the Moon, and race against the Decepticons to reach it and to learn its secrets.
My review:
Okay, so, the action ROCKED. Kind of expected that, though, right? I came into the movie hearing, “There’s no plot” and “Not sure what I just saw, but it was good.”
I’m pretty sure of what I saw, and I didn’t really like it. I found a bit of a plot, but again, I didn’t like it.
We have the main character, Shia LaBeouf, who is a fine actor, just not one of my favorites. In the beginning he’s screaming his head off like a little girl but then magically morphs into this amazing super-dude who can catch falling women with a quick snatch of his hand, skid under cars and kick the crap out of dudes twice his size.
We have the heroine, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, walking around in skimpy outfits that left little to the imagination as to what was beneath the flimsy fabric. What was her role in the movie again? Other than to be a beauty on Shia’s arm….I’m not quite sure.
I thought the humor was distracting again as I did with the last movie. Really, the only thing that rocked was the action, and it flirted with being over done. It just went on and on and on.
Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE special effects, kick-butt action scenes, but a girl can only take so many in a movie. Jeepers.
Sorry guys, I have to give the movie Two Tickets:

Wow. We said some of the same things . . .lol. I only gave it the three tickets because there is no way one should watch this on DVD. IF IF IF, you are going to see it at all, see it at the theater 🙂 And if you can, have someone else pay hee hee.
Can’t beat the company tho, Lynn! 🙂 You rock!
(sorry everyone my review was sooooo late . . . can’t get the auto to work on my blog!)
Ciara Knight
Yeah, I’m thinking DVD at best. Not paying for the movie.
Jillian Chantal
Ok then, this will be a no for me!
Lynn Rush
🙂 Maybe try it on DVD when it comes out and then let me know what you think. 🙂

I haven’t seen any of the Transformer movies…I used to watch the cartoon with my brother when we were younger and it just doesn’t seem right that a movie was made from it *sniff*. Kind of like Smurfs…really? I’m going to waste 2 and a half hours of my life to watch a Smurf movie? At least it was only 30 minutes when I was a kid…seriously, a movie?
Lynn Rush
Smurfs? Oh gosh. Please. No. LOL.

I am a huge movie fan, a huge Transformers fan, and I did NOT like the third one either! Not too harsh at all. Good review! I AH-gree! Happy Tuesday!

Action, humor, better story than the other 2,whiteley way better than megan fox, surprises, patrick dempsey as a great bad guy, its an insult not to watch this on the big screen. I guess im not “NORMAL”. Dont go into this movie unless you want thrills excitement and action. I couldnt disagree with your review more.
Lynn Rush
Thanks for stopping by, Lee. Great points you brought up. 🙂 Dempsey did a pretty good job, I was surprised by what he turned out to be. 🙂
Lynn Rush
Thanks, Lori. It sure is a subjective industry…kinda like the book world, huh? One person likes it, one person doesn’t. LOL
Lindsay
Thanks for the heads up on the movie.
Lynn Rush
Sure. If you see it, let me know what you think, k?
Lindsay
Actually, I think I’ll wait until it comes to one of the movie channels on my TV
Savannah Chase
I have not seen this one yet..It looks good but I have to wait and see if it really is…
Lynn Rush
Yeah. Don’t take just my opinion. Numbers don’t lie, it’s cleaning house at the box office I think. 🙂

Lynn, I love it when :”normal” people write reviews! I have no intentions of seeing this movie, despite it making $140M already. I’m not really a summer blockbuster kinda guy unless it’s is *actually* (gasp) a GREAT movie. Keep ’em coming
Lynn Rush
Thanks for stopping by, Matthew. “Normal?” who ever said I was normal? Just joking.

I’ve got the first 2 on DVD so I’ll wait for this to come out on DVD and get it to complete the collection. I think the first film will remain the best one as often happens in series!
Lynn Rush
I think the first one is the best, too. Love it. 🙂
