CSO–Valentine’s Day Style….

Okay, so for Cinema Sound Off today we’re doing something different. Usually we head into the wonderful Harkins Theatres to review a new release to let you know if it’s worth your while…

But today, for Valentine’s Day we watched a blast from the past sweetheart movie.

SIXTEEN CANDLES

**le sigh**

I tell you, it has to be one of my faves out there, you know? Such innocence. Awkward teen moments. Sweet, Sweet love.

**le sigh**

Yes, I sighed again. Might be overkill, but that’s okay, I just think this movie is so cute.

Here are some fun parts

Loved it. In fact, I was just talking to my son on the 13th about the geeky guy and how he doesn’t even look like the same person anymore. Remember The Dead Zone? It took me a long time to agree he was the same dude. LOL!

I love THIS movie. I love Jake Ryan. I like when they find Anthony Michael Hall’s character under the glass table. And I like it when jake meets her at the church. I have this on dvd I need to watch it. Happy Valentine’s day. —Rachel

I love every part of this movie. It’s funny you picked it because over the weekend I was feeding my nephew, or about to and I clapped my hands and said, “Dong? Where is my auto-mobile?” and my brother jumped in with, “Automobile?*car sounds* Lake! Big lake!” LOL
