FRIDAY FUNNIES

Friday Funnies is a chance to share your wild and crazy stories. Whether it’s a personal story or just something that strikes you as funny.

Let’s laugh and have some fun, but keep it clean, cuz I’m a watchin’ **wink wink**

Last night my sweet hubby and I went to a party at our church. They were celebrating the volunteers by giving them a little 1960s themed dinner and music show. In case you don’t know, I go to a mega church — along with 12,000 other people. The church has a strong music ministry, so they centered most of the night around 1960s and 1970s music.

And, although the message of the song below is good, it is an absolutely hysterical video to watch. If you watch this, I promise, you’ll end up on the floor laughing with tears streaming down your cheeks.

So, Kat. Were there a certain amount of substances (wink wink) that were involved in the whole Lawrence Welk/Van Halen thing???? Just kidding– that sounds so funny……

Kelly, thanks for visiting. Ohhhh, that might have been painful to sit through, but bless her for putting herself out there, huh? LOL.

    LOL- Hilarious.
I was in church a few weeks ago, and they had this 70 yr old lady playing organ and singing. You couldn’t understand a thing she said and she was so off key. At one point, she started playing at the wrong time. I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

I just don’t quite know what to say about that video. I’m trying really hard not to laugh, but I just …nope, I just can’t hold it in.

*rolls on the floor with belly laughs*

    *catches breath*

    *laughs a little more*

Weren’t those guys on the Brady Bunch?

This video reminds me of when my husband and I were first married and couldn’t afford satellite TV. The only station we could get in the tiny trailer where we lived was PBS. For fun on Saturday night, we would turn Van Halen on the stereo and Lawrence Welk on TV. With the TV volume muted, it looked like they were singing and dancing to Van Halen tunes. Some of them worked out perfect. It worked with the Guy Lombardo reruns too.

Try it sometime. It’s a riot.
