Halloween
So, it’s October . . . time for scary movies, right?
We’re counting them down here on the blog. One a week until Halloween week, then it’s a movie a day until our number ONE choice.
Oh boy, it’s gonna be creepy. I’m such a wimp when it comes to scary movies. Ask my sweet hubby-I won’t go to them in the theatre very often, and when we rent them, I have the pillow up to my face for a majority of them.
*shiver*
Last week’s was Candyman, which was super scary, but this week. . . check it out. . .

Okay, so I haven’t seen this movie in years, but just watching the trailer had me shivering in my seat here. You know what gets me the most? The music. Because, really, the acting isn’t all that stellar, but jeepers, if I could watch it on mute, I’d be fine!
What’d you think?

It’s so funny when you get older how you see things differently. Music was about the only thing good. lol “Halloween”

I think I am the biggest wimp on the planet. I do NOT like horror movies in any form. Thrillers–no. I like my rom com’s and dramas and reality TV, but I do not like to be scared.

Eep! 😉

The music makes it, that’s for sure! Have a special place in my heart for this movie – strange, but true. A true classic. Don’t like all the modern remakes of these with all the gore and gag. Suspense is the best thriller! IMO, anyway. 🙂
Happy Wednesday, my friend!

I don’t know…I’ve already talked about my experiences with Halloween II, but the first one was pretty good, I thought. Of course, I do like Jamie Lee Curtis in horror movies. Have you ever seen Terror Train? It’s not the best movie ever, but it has a good plot…sort of, lol.

Yep. The acting wasn’t stellar but it was a creepy movie- but after the first viewing, not so much!! Jillian

So, you were okay after the first viewing? As in, not scared anymore? Jeez, I wish I could say that. Despite knowing the outcome and everything…I still get majorly creeped out.

LOL, I thought it was a spoof for a minute. Nope, just 80’s cinema. The music is still chilling.

I know. I had to be sure this was really the trailer, like, three times! It was crazy. But yep. . . it’s old. And yes, the music is wicked!
