Life and Whatnot

Lazy Days…

~~~~
Now, don’t you just want to ease into that little slice of goodness and nap the day away? **Le Sigh**
I used to think lying around was wasteful–back in my OCD-keep the house immaculate days…but now, not so much. Sure, if you laz around all day every day, whole ‘nother story.
But there is something to say about shutting everything around you down–yes, even the smart phone and computer. *gasp*
Didn’t some commercial coin the term, “Idiating?”
It’s totally true. Not just for writers, but for everyone. To shush the hum of constant noise, distractions, everything, and just let your mind wander. I know I try and do that for a little bit as often as I can, and it’s amazing to see how the ideas come flowing.
So, when’s the last time you “ideated?”
    You’re so right, Lynn, and that hammock looks so inviting! Last time was the end of October when my computer crashed. It was down for over 9 days, so I was forced to take some time off!
    Wow, that picture sure looks nice… My last ideate session: at least 10 months ago (before baby). Now, when he goes to bed, I really get moving – doing housework, doing laundry, making bottles, doing homework for university, and, of course, trying to squeeze some writing in. Now I’m just happy if I get 6 or more hours of uninterrupted sleep a night.
    I try to take it a little easier on the weekends. I have kids, so it’s a good time to spend with them since weekdays get so crazy.
    ‘Course, Nano sorta throws all that chillaxing time out the window, doesn’t it? 😉
