Musical Monday

My poor sweet hubby. . . he’s had to endure another weekend of having my newest favorite song fixed on repeat on iTunes.

I seriously have had this song playing non-stop since I heard it on American Idol this past week.

Lady Antebellum — Need You Now.

I’m not a HUGE country fan, but this song is great. Such a catchy tune. I can’t stop listening to it! I get that way when I hear a song I really love.

What’s your newest favorite song?

I’m not much of a country fan either, but…

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this song. I was sitting in my hairdresser’s chair the first time I heard it several months ago, and I’ve had it in my head ever since.

KM–Actually, Lady Antebellum sang it! Yep, they were on the show. Great performance, too.
Kay–Sorry I distracted you. LOL. No I’m not. Glad you enjoyed the music. 🙂 I checked out the Honey song. .. Nice one.
Kat–Shimmer? okay, I’ll go check them out.
Lori–Sidewalk Prophets. Not heard of them yet. I’ll go check them out.
Bernita–glad you stopped by. You’re very welcome!

Since my dive into country music about a year ago, I’ve heard of this group and really enjoy them. But my new fave song right now comes from the Contemporary Christian world – Sidewalk Prophets’ “I Lay Down My Life for You” – stemming from rocking out with them at the Rock and Worship Roadshow a couple weeks ago. 🙂 Happy Monday!

And have you listened to “Run to you”. that was the first one that was huge on country radio.
You’ve completely messed up my morning – all I’m doing now is watching lady antebellum videos

Also check out their song – American Honey. Reminds me of my 19 year old daughter so much. As a lover of words – you’ll love some of the phrases. “Steady as a preacher. Free as a weed”

This has been a favorite of mine since it came out, as I do listen to country. Funny, but when I saw it on Idol I knew folks hearing it for the first time would love it – didn’t know I’d actually know one of those people!
