Life and Whatnot

Sweet Blog Award

Ms. Bella Street sent me a little blog award. HOW FUN.

Gosh, these are so hard for me. I’m rather boring, so the random facts are … well, pretty boring. But I’ll give it a shot.

1. One I do have in common with Bella is Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Man. I loved that show. Then again, I love wicked-strong heroines. Especially ones who kill Vamps (see Emma from my upcoming Violet Night Trilogy)

2. I love chocolate. Anyone who follows my Facebook or Twitter know this already. LOL. But, it’s worth mentioning again. What’s YOUR favorite kind of chocolate?

3. I’ve not read Harry Potter OR The Hunger Games series. I think I’m the only one on the planet who hasn’t.

4. My new FAVE author for now is Richelle Mead (Vampire Academy Series). I just fell in love with Rose and Dimitri. **le sigh**

5. I’m super excited for AWAITED to release in May! I had so much fun writing David’s story in WASTELAND, but this next one is Russell’s story….

Oh, gosh. TWO MORE still. . . .I told you I’m sucky at these. Ummmm….let’s see.

Okay. I can’t think of anything. So, I’m ready to pass the award on…

Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, semi-sweet.Any kind of chocolate works for me. And I thought I was alone in not reading the Harry Potter of The hunger Game series. Guess there are 2 more out there.

Oh dark chocolate, definitely. It’s good for you, right? I don’t go for sweets much, but dark chocolate is my weakness, especially truffles. And I’m a sinner who hasn’t read Harry Potter, either. My kids have the whole set, but I never got to them. I have Catching Fire and Mockingjay on my TBR, but haven’t gotten to them yet. I loved Hunger Games. I’m a little worried about finishing the series, though. I heard it’s either a love or hate verdict on the last book. Congrats on the award!

Thank you, Lynn! I’ve won it before, so I shall just graciously accept it.
And you are not the only one on the planet who hasn’t read those books. I may one day read Harry Potter but I’ve no interest in The Hunger Games series.
