Swicked Saturday

My good friend, Dasha, LOVES to read.

So, I thought it would be kind of cool to give her a day per month to review a book she’s read or is reading.

She’s chosen her monthly review day to be called:

Swicked Saturday.

Enjoy!!

MAX, by James Paterson

Back Cover Blurb from Barnes and Noble:

Maximum Ride and the other members of the Flock have barely recovered from their last arctic adventure, when they are confronted by the most frightening catastrophe yet. Millions of fish are dying off the coast of Hawaii and someone-or something-is destroying hundreds of ships. Unable to discover the cause, the government enlists the Flock to help them get to the bottom of the disaster before it is too late.

While Max and her team are exploring the depths of the ocean, their every move is being carefully tracked by Mr. Chu-a criminal mastermind with his own plans for the Flock. Can they protect themselves from Mr. Chu’s army of mercenaries and save the ocean from utter destruction?

Dasha’s Review:

This book was beyond amazing. It felt like I was in the story. When they are fighting, I was right there. There are some “aww, how cute” parts. So it’s a love/action story.

I recommend this book because it will take you on a journey and it makes you wish that you can have wings and all those powers.

I will read this book over and over. I love it so go and buy yourself a copy and read it.

First of all, I love your pic, Dasha. Great pic! I looove your name too!

The synopsis was great. I got a feel for the gist of the book and great knowledge of the story. You have hooked me into reading it, not only because of the synopsis, but also when you said, “I will read this book over and over”

Max is now on my must read list. 🙂 Great cover, don’t you think?
