I listen to some songs just because they’re fun. You know? Like, a great beat that keeps me pumping while I’m biking or runnin’. But some–well, some have those few words that truly inspire me. Or even remind me, of what’s important.
This part of the chorus did that for me in this song:

Okay, I’m loving this group. Been listening to their stuff 24/7 (must to my sweet hubby’s dismay) for a couple months, now.
Over, and over, and over….You can ask him 🙂
Anyway, this song hit a chord with me this past weekend, though. It’s about being active in our faith. At least this is how I interpret it.
They really hit me with the idea that this world, what we have today, is temporary…it’s just a minute compared to eternity.
Clearly it’s time to make a change

It Just Takes One, Addison Road.

I went to a rockin’ concert this past weekend at the US Airways Center here in Phoenix: The Rock and Worship Road Show.
It featured: Jeremy Camp, Mercy Me, Addison Road, Hawk Nelson, Tenth Avenue North. It was so fun, and I was introduced to Addison Road.
And let me tell you, I’m a huge fan now! I picked It Just Takes One as my song for today. The lyrics aren’t posted anywhere that I could find yet. I listened to the song and found the ones that touched me the most.
