So, you had to know we’d review this one, right? It’s the latest craze. We quick saw it before I left for England so we could review it on CSO for ya!
My Review:
Oh boy. This breaks my heart to say, but I was somewhat disappointed.
I’m sorry. Really. I am a total Twilight fan, you know that. But, what the heck was up with all the corny wigs? Really. Even Bella Swan. . . looked like her hair was a wig. And Victoria? Ugh, first they have a different actress playing the part, but the hair is just too far gone. . . The worst, though, was Jasper. Why can’t he just have normal hair? His scene was just…well…stiff.
Total bummer.
I liked how they did the back story into the tribe and the wicked-awesome fighting scenes. Nice CG. Loved the wolves. Edward still looked constipated pretty much the entire movie which totally bummed me out. You know who I really liked, ALICE. Yep, she was wicked-awesome this one. Despite the wig….LOL.
Overall, I have to rate it pretty high still because the story was pretty true to the book and, well, I just really love Twilight. It’s kinda like the books, I was able to overlook the over writing (come on, the books were WAY longer than they needed to be) because I was so invested in the characters. To me, that’s the most important thing while reading.

Musical Monday
So, I watched New Moon again this weekend.
I needed some time to relax after a long week of work, so I vegged out, watched the movie for the umteenth time, and rested up.
It was perfect.
I had to Google this song, Possibility, by Lykke Li to check it out. The music in the Twilight series isn’t really my style, but a couple caught my attention.It’s so sad sounding, though. But then again, the Twilight movies are filled with emotional turmoil, right? LOL.

The Century
If you have been following my facebook or twitter the past few days, you know I went on a big bike ride this past weekend to celebrate turning 37 years old.
I’ve always heard that people go “through” something each year they creep toward the big one (40 years old).
Well, it seems I’m no exception.
I love to cycle, so I thought what better to challenge myself as I near “old” age (**wink, wink**) than to try something I’ve never done before.
Ride 100 miles–known as a Century in the biking world.
I found a few people brave enough to help me. Bob, Christina, and my sweet hubby, Charlie. 
This was at mile 60. We stopped and refueled and rested. Here we are ready to brave the wicked wind that picked up for our last 40 miles 
Here's me at the end. My friend, Michele, got me a balloon and hid it in my garage. Man, I was TIRED! Glad it was over. 
Charlie took me out for a fun dinner at Red Robin. 
I had a monster piece of cake . . . burned a few thousand calories on the bike ride, so I indulged. LOL ~~~
On Sunday, we relaxed. I went to see the movie New Moon with some friends why Charlie recovered, cuddled up with our sweet dog, Maddux.

I went to see New Moon for the second time. . . was just as good. So, I’d mark this down as pretty much the BEST birthday I’ve ever had.
