• Violet Storm…here we come

Wow. It’s hard to believe I hit SEND on the final edits for Violet Storm (Violet Night #3) to my Super Editor.

    Two trilogies done!

Five BooksWhen I was straightening out my book shelf the other day, I had to stop when I saw my books.

I put them all out and snapped this picture. Five novels out there, the sixth on its way (June hopefully)….And yes, I pinched myself.

Stills feel like a dream sometimes. I’m excited to see what cover they come up with for the final installment of Jake and Emma’s love story.

As soon as I have it, I’ll post it for sure.

Thanks for all of your support. You guys ROCK!

    FREEDOM

I’m so thankful I live in a country where I can vote, freely worship my God, and follow my dreams. Not everyone is so blessed. And along this line of thinking, I’m so thankful for those who serve to protect those three things I just mentioned. You answered a call to serve and protect, for that I’m thankful! Your sacrifice is noted and appreciated. Thank you!

    READERS/FANS

What can I say? Readers rule!! Seriously, I’m so thankful for you guys. I just smile when I receive emails from you after you’ve read one of my stories. And hearing how it touched you or how you can’t wait to read the next installment to see what happens…it just makes me smile. I love writing stories for you all. Thanks so much for your support!!

    FRIENDS

I’ve been blessed with so many wonderful friends. Both writing friends and non-writing friends. It’s awesome when you can be yourself and still be accepted. Even through tears, tantrums, and just plain fun! No judgement. Just love. I’m so thankful for you guys!

    HUSBAND

This might go along with yesterday’s, but that’s okay. I had to separate out my hubby. Gosh he’s a pillar of strength. He’s the first one I think of when I have something exciting to celebrate. Or when I’m hurting, both physically and mentally. He’s my encourager, my sounding board.

People sometimes asks me how I can write romance novels…well, I write what I know, and I know love because of Charlie. I’m so thankful to have him.

    FAMILY

I just got back from Iowa yesterday. All the family got together one last time in the house my sweet hubby grew up in. Since Lynn’s passing, the house has been sold, so we all gathered together to remember her. Remember the house. And just be together in that house one last time. It really reminds me how important family is. Through the tough times and the good times, they’re there. For that I’m very thankful!
