ThrowbackThursdayThis week’s Throwback Thursday is so very close to my heart. Lynn, my mother-in-law lost her battle to cancer three years ago this month, but I found this picture from 2010 and just had to post it. Her laugh… man it just made me smile… So here’s to you, Lynn!!OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

    Happy Throwback Thursday, my friends.

    ThrowbackThursday

Remember the boom box radio? Cassette Tapes? Or maybe just this movie? **le sigh**

Lloyd Dobler was AWESOME. Such a quirky, funny, loving, protective hero, huh?

    He just makes me smile.

    ThrowbackThursday

This picture is my favorite. Way back in 1996 on the day I married my best friend and soulmate. Yeah, it’s blurry since I had to take a picture of a picture…no digital pictures back then for us.

    ThrowbackThursday

This one takes me back to a crazy-intense time. Speed skating! I loved the rush and excitement for sure. Here’s a picture from a race out in California several years ago if I remember correctly.

Throwing you waaaaaay back today for Throwback Thursday. The mid-60s to be more specific.

    Remember this game?

I do, and you know what I remember most?

    That loud Bzzzzz……

That used to freak me out. As in seriously I would jump. And I used to get the sweaty hands….

I know, right? And I called that a fun game? **LOL**

    Happy Throwback Thursday, my friends.

    Have a great day.

  • Throwback Thursday–Blade Runner

Got to hand it to Ridley Scott…he’s good! He’s been around a long time and had his hand in some pretty awesome movies!

But for today’s throwback, let’s see if you remember this one:

Talk about a crazy movie, huh? I’ve only seen bits and pieces, but what I’ve seen, it’s pretty crazy.

Have you seen Prometheus yet? Ridley was involved in that one, too. And don’t forget Thelma and Louis and GI Jane. **whew** Those were pretty intense as well.

What movies are you looking forward to watching this weekend? I can’t decide between Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter, or BRAVE!!!!!
