Telekinesis or Telepathy…

You all know by now that I write paranormal romance. That pretty much means that my characters often have some special abilities. Sometimes they’re happy about it…sometimes not so much. **grin**

Usually they end up coming around.

If YOU had to choose between Telekinesis or Telepathy, which psychic ability would you want?

I’m leaning toward the telekinesis. It’d be pretty cool to move things with my mind. With telepathy, I could hear something from someone’s head that might mentally scar me for life! I mean, there are some pretty sick people out there, right? **LOL**

I think that’s why I liked PUSH so much:

Remember that movie? I loved it. Lots of action and super powers. My kind of movie.

Or how about this one: JUMPER.

Lots of crazy super powers out there, huh?? I think Telekinesis wins out for me. How ’bout you?

If telepathy included interjecting my thoughts upon others to do what I wanted I think I would go for that. Then I could make them move things for me or whatever I needed. Great way to get out of traffic tickets or get into places for free.
I’d forgotten about Push–I wanted to see that movie.

They both sound good. Telekinesis for me, please. I’m very very afraid of the inside of people’s heads!

It’s a hard choice to make for me! I think I would only want to be telepathic when I actually need to be. For example, if I wanted to dig the truth out from someone. 😉 But other than that, hearing people’s thoughts all the time may end up driving me insane! I’d rather have telekinesis. That would be cool. 😀

Ooh, this is a hard one. Can I have both? Ha! I guess if I HAD to choose, I’d go for telepathy. I would love to know what’s going on inside other people’s heads. I’m nosy that way. 🙂

Both…Sure, that’s always an option. LOL. I have enough junk in my head, I don’t want to know what other people have in their heads. LOL!

I don’t think I would want to hear toughts, and I don’t want to move things around. I would just fling things at people I don’t like. If I had to pick I guess I would want to hear people’s thoughts. If I could hear what they are thinking I could prepare myself for it. Like if they wanted help babysitting I could run away quickly. lol.—Rachel

I really liked PUSH. Even more than Jumper. If you see it, let me know what you think, okay? 🙂

I love the movie ‘Push’ but never saw ‘Jumper’ but when it comes around to one of the premium channels I just might.
As authors I think we all have a little bit of both Telekinesis and Telepathy in us. We get the reader to enter our world, let them experience thing they might not in the real world and let them reveal in the experience. We are able to move them in ways they never thought possible.
