The Rise of . . . .

~~~~~
Have you guys gone to see The Rise of the Planet of the Apes yet?
Me and my sweet hubby did, and let me tell you, I was really impressed. I wasn’t sure what to expect because I’ve never really seen anything about the previous movie, TV shows, comics or read the novel.
Boy, this movie took me by surprise. Lots of story there. High emotion, too. And to see how Caesar became what he was, both emotionally and physically, very intriguing and engaging.
Really good. If you haven’t seen it…go now! If you have, what’d you think?
    Didn’t want to see it due to not being impressed with the previous movies on the same subject. But My Daniel wanted to see it, so I went. GLAD I DID! This was great story telling. Engaging, I agree with that description! I was pleasantly surprised. Good flick! Worth the watch for sure.
    Haven’t seen it- it didn’t lok like something I would enjoy but you make it sounds all right. I prob won’t see it in the theatre, though. I only go to the theate on ones I can’t wait for the dvd. This one doesn’t speak to me in that way. If you know what I mean.
    I saw the original movie with Charlton Heston and then the remake. Neither times was I all that impressed so I’m also giving this one a pass
    I didn’t mind the originals for the actual “idea” but not really for how they were executed. But this one looks like it’s done really well and I’ve been excited about it since I saw a trailer eons ago. With today’s technology they could really do the story justice and not make it cheesy like the first ones. I’m glad you saw it and recommend it. I just might have to get a babysitter for this weekend and get the hubby to take me for a night out.
    I saw Planent of the Apes and thought it was okay, if a bit weird. I might have to see this now. *adds another movie to her list she’ll never get around to watching* 😉
