Turn the dis to en.

*****

A few tiny letters can impact a pretty powerful word.

Discouragement vs Encouragement.

It’s easy to fall into the dis part of that word when things aren’t going right or you’re facing a problem that feels overwhelming.

Or maybe you’re surrounded by dis people, be it family, co-workers or classmates.

Whatever the situation, you can turn that dis to en.

Look for even the tiniest positive and acknowledge it. Celebrate the small successes as if they were milestones. Over-exaggerate the things that bring a smile to your face.

You’ll see the dis start to fade and the en start to push through. It will not only help you fight through your own discouragement, people around will will be come infected.

Soon you and those near you will be encouraged. And that’s a force to be reckoned with.

My challenge to you is for you to be en today.
