Oh man, that show cracked me up. Did you see the movie version with Jessica Simpson, Johnny Knoxville and Seann William Scott?

Why couldn’t they have left well enough alone??? LOL.

Happy Throwback Thursday, everyone!!

Hi, Lynn! Missed your blog while I’ve been on the road.
I LOVED Dukes, especially Bo Duke! John Schneider… ah! And getting better with age! 🙂
It’s a blast to go back and watch those shows now b/c it was so silly. But really, it’s too bad tv isn’t more like that today – keep us less bogged down with “reality.”
    Happy Thursday!

This was one of my favorite shows growing up!

There’s a replica of the General Lee not far from where I live (someone in the next town over owns it)–beautiful car!!! 😀

I remember being about 4 years old and in daycare. Me and a couple of friends would crouch beneath the tables and pretend that they were our cars. Of course, I was always Daisy. That show couldn’t be missed, even at that age. Now, if I catch a re-run, I laugh myself silly.

When I first saw the re-make, I thought it was a spoof of the original until I watched a couple of old episodes and realized how crazy the original really was. Thanks for the memory invocation. 🙂

Two things…when I was younger, my uncle married a lady with 2 sons. One had brown hair, the other had blonde. Guess what we did all the time? Played Dukes of Hazzard on our big wheels!

Secondly, I have this song as my dad’s ringtone, LOL LOVED TDH and I wish Hollywood would’ve left them alone. The show had a legacy that shouldn’t have been touched. And Roscoe P. Coltrane was the Marshal of one of our parades not too long ago. He was popular! And now I’m going to be saying, “Roscoe P. Coltrane” all day. Meh.

    Great Throwback Thursday though!
