Throwback Thursday…Indiana Jones Style

Throwing you back to 1989 today on Throwback Thursday.

Did you know Indiana Jones and the Last Cursade was the biggest grossing movie that year?

And *gulp* I’ve never really watched it in its entirety.

*ducks, dodging flying objects*

I’ve seen all of them… and I think I must have gone to that with my room mate at the time, as I was JUST out of college–seems to me Sean Connery was the big draw… it was a time we used to put beer bottles in our coats and sneak them into the theater… oh, to be 22… We own them now. The second one has pretty dubious acting, but the first and 3rd are pretty good.

Yes, ma’am. You should be ducking. YOU MUST watch it. Have you seen the other Indiana movies? I laughed while watching the trailer. I think I need to buy the DVD now.

There were a few memorable movies in 1989. Who can forget Jack Nicholson in Batman? Christmas Vacation came out, and I still watch it EVERY year during the Holidays! As a baseball fan I can’t forget Field Of Dreams or Major League, both of which came out in 1989. This was my sophomore year of High School and the year I got my drivers license. I saw A LOT of movies in 1989! Some other movies I saw that year were Turner and Hooch, which to this day is still one of my favorite Tom Hanks movies and Uncle Buck which was arguably John Candys best role. I also remember seeing Lethal Weapon II that year, I love that franchise. Thanks for bringing me back! I do think you need to Netflix The Last Crusade soon and tell us what you think. You owe us that much for creating this thread!
