TRON…
The son of a virtual world designer goes looking for his father and ends up inside the digital world that his father designed. He meets his father’s creation turned bad and a unique ally who was born inside the digital domain of The Grid.
WHAT I THOUGHT:
Okay, that scene where he opens the arcade and that 80s song is jamming…that was freaking awesome. Separate Ways by Journey. I loved the opening scene at the company where he plants the virus. That’s my kind of opening when someone jumps off a building.
Yep. I was drawn in from the beginning.
The effects were super cool, and Quorra…she rocked! They sure created a complex and interesting world. The acting wasn’t too bad, either. Kinda flaky sometimes, but overall, kept me interested!
Yeah, I’d say I liked that movie for sure.

Haven’t seen it. I was thinking of giving it a pass since I was afraid it would ruin the first one for me. Now I need to check it out.

My Hubby and Nephew were entranced watching it the other day. I was buzzing around doing something or another, but caught some parts. Looked really cool!

I didn’t know if I wanted to watch this or not. I remember Tron and wasn’t enthralled with it like most people were. I was more into Logan’s Run (Does anyone remember that one??). I think it’s great though, that instead of remaking the original, they continued the story. I salute the creators for that alone, especially in this day and age of fantastic visual effects.
