Vampire Diaries: Frostbite Week

HI. Amanda here again. ☺

So how’d I do on picking the song for yesterday’s post? Lynn pretty much gave me free reign this week for posts . . . so I got to thinking on today’s post and pretty much had to talk about my favorite show on TV right now . . .

Wesley PICTURESo, do you watch Vampire Diaries?

Come on, admit it if you do. It’s okay. This blog is a safe place . . . Sorry, just had to say that.

Fine, I’ll be the first to admit it. I watch Vampire Diaries.

There, that wasn’t so hard.

An no, Lynn Rush did NOT write in any vampires into Frostbite. I’m glad, too, because I have enough to deal with running from The Coats who basically want to dissect me to see why I’m so strong and why I can freeze things.

Anyway, back to Vampire Diaries.

My favorite character is Paul Wesley. He plays Stefan Salvatore and boy does he do it very well.

Those big puppy-dog eyes. A good vampire just lookin’ for love-Gotta love it.

There are tons of vampire-type movies, books, and TV shows it’s getting kinda comical, but yet, I can’t get enough of them. Weird?

**What’s your favorite vampire movie, book, or TV show?**

I’m not ashamed at all to say I LOVE Vampire Diaries!!! I love seeing the story come together every week…. I’ve never read the books and I never will but I will continue to watch the show until it ends <3

Note: The Vampires Diaries was published in 1991 & Twilight was published in 2005…. ;p

    VD all the way!! <3

OH yeah. Lost Boys is my favorite vampire movie. Well, besides Twilight of course. LOL. Lost Boys is good because of Jason Patric for sure, Lori. 🙂

Rosslyn–thanks for stoppin’ by. Nice to meet you! I may have to check out Dracula.

Kat–yeah, the whole avoiding The Coats thing is big on the priority list. They grabbed me a couple times before, and even Scott . . . but my frosty tendencies got us out of those jams. Been free and clear from them for a while. So that’s a good thing!

I’ve never really been into vampires. Although the old Scooby Doo episode with the vampire is one of my favorites. Yeah, I watch cartoons. It’s sad.

I was curious about The Coats and why you were trying to get away from them. This post explains a lot. Dissection would not be fun. 🙂

I’m with Lori – Dracula. I even like the Francis Ford Coppola movie, which many people don’t like. It’s too bad about Keanu Reeves and his inability to do a British accent, but his role isn’t too large, so after the first half hour the movie gets much better. Gary Oldman and Winona Ryder were excellent.

KM—Oh yeah, avoiding “The Coats” at all costs. 🙂 Yeah, you’ll have to check this series out. It’s pretty sweet.

Lori—Thanks for stoppin’ by. Yeah, they mocked Twilight a bit, didn’t they. I hear that this book came out BEFORE Twilight….interesting. Oh yeah? Lost Boys? I’ve heard of that movie before. I think it’s one of Lynn’s favorite Vampire movies.

I watched Vampire Diaries last week for the first time, and I’m hooked as well, even though they mocked Twilight in the first five minutes (which just is NOT okay with me! lol) 🙂 In the literature world, Stoker’s Dracula is my favorite, masterfully written and an intriguing story. On the screen, I’ll have to go retro and say Lost Boys. Everything I know about vampires, which is hardly anything, I learned from watching that over and over and over and… well, you get the picture. Maybe that had to do with Jason Patric? I don’t know.

This looks good. i haven’t watched. That man is cuuute!

I loved Ann Rice. Her vamp serious kept me hooked until the very last one 🙂

Nice post, Amanda. Keep clear of the Coats today! 🙂
