Write On
My characters hosted the blog for the time I was gone. Looked like they had a bit of fun while I was gone.
Well, I got home last Wednesday–well, it was late enough to technically be early Thursday morning.
I’d never experienced Jet Lag before.
Have you?
It’s NOT fun. I woke up at 2:30 in the morning on Friday thinking it was, like, ten in the morning and I was to be up and ready for the day.
Yeah, not so much.
But, I did get a bit of a story idea as I sat in bet reviewing the previous week’s adventures globe trotting.
So, I got up and started writing.
By the end of the weekend, I had over 40,000 words done on Morgan and Tanner’s story.
I guess jet lag can come in handy, huh?

OH, and if you’re interested, here’s a little video I shot from my camera at the Eiffel Tower lighting. It was a great time.

Glad you had a great trip. Your video reminded me of my last night in Paris when we took a cruise down the river the watched the lights.
As to jet-lag, I solve the problem by staying awake for nearly two days straight during my final days of travel and then crash for twelve, thriteen hours of sleep. When I finally wake up I’m essentially reset. Though I can imagine I am not a friendly traveller during those last few days.

Jet lag does crazy things to the mind and body, but yeah, it can definitely be good sometimes. Congrats on the word count. That’s crazy!

I’ve watched you over the weekend pound out those word counts and oozed with writing jealousy! Rock on!

LOL. Sometimes the words flow . . . but not always. This story happens to flow. We’ll see what becomes of it.

Yeah. I wondered if all that traveling and sight-seeing might trigger a story. It came on like a tidal wave. LOL.
